- Excellent opportunity for an experienced R&D Engineer in New Product Design team
- World's leading firm offering 12 months contract position based in Sydney
- Join a team of highly experienced Engineers
The Role:
This opportunity exists for someone who has previous experience in full product lifecycle management in an R&D team. Working across different geographic locations, you will be liaising with some of the best experts in this field. This long term project is complex but exciting.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Background in designing complex enclosures
- Sheet metal & Die Cast experience
- Strong injection moulding/plastics experience (including dealing with mould manufacturers)
- Ability to take existing parts/assemblies and modify to suit new requirements
- Detail Design & Documentation experience
- At least 8years experience in Product Design & Development
- Advanced SOLIDWORKS skills
- Exposure to PLM
- Ability to travel overseas and liaise with the clients
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
