In this pivotal role you will provide engineering expertise and support with the design, fabrication and installation of engineering solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Design modifications for heavy machinery;
- Assisting with the development of project plans and design;
- Providing customer solutions and recommendations relevant to the project scope;
- Ensuring quality and compliance standards are met;
- Producing accurate and detailed design documentation;
- Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures;
- Hydraulic systems design and support;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks and Six Sigma,
The technical specifications, design and coordination of resources, setting of priorities, gaining support and providing feedback to all stakeholders is key to your success.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering together with previous experience with mining machinery or heavy equipment. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate a diligent commitment to all areas of safety.
