What you'll do!
- You will commence work immediately on 2 Paddington Terrace projects, by a well-known, innovative Interior Architect / Designer
- Programme management – prepare rolling site programmes, ensuring subcontractors are on site and working according to the programme and addressing quality and timing of work regularly.
- Profit and time – ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget, by anticipating any risks and creating opportunities for cost savings inconjution with the Project Manager, whilst delivering a high standard of work.
- Managing individual contractors – building a productive work relationship with Subcontractors to maximise their productivity and efficiencies, by actively communicating with all parties.
- Contractor and operational management – direct, co-ordinate and monitor Subcontractor progress against rolling site and master program and action accordingly.
- Documentation interpretation – ensure documentation requirements are communicated and updated
- Safety – drive a pro-active commitment to safety across all site personnel, by defining, communicating and implementing safety practices that comply with WHS standards.
- Quality Assurance Administration – ensure company quality assurance policy is adhered to, via regular spot checks, reporting and rectifying where necessary
- Environmental Management – promote a culture that adheres to environmental management best practices
- Work Health & Safety – demonstrate understanding of Project Saftey Management Systems and Project Safety Plans, and take a pro-active approach to ensuring safety standards are achieved on the project.
What we offer!
You will be offered a package between $90K-$110K, plus super, plus car, tools, fuel and mobile phone allowance.
About YOU!
It is essential that you have:
- At least 2 years experiences as a Foreman with projects from $500k - $1.5M
- Experience with medium to high-end residential projects with the attention to detail
- Carpentry experience would be highly desirable
- Experience in mid to high-end finishes
- The drive to be hands on and pick up a tool when needed
- Appreciation for attention to detail
- Demonstrated the ability to adhere to systems and procedures
- White Card
- Ability to work under pressure by multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment driven by deadlines
- Proven ability to handle 1 - 2 projects simultaneously
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- An enthusiastic, outgoing, and friendly personality
- Displays a high level of customer service with clients, team members and third parties
- Results driven with a priority on accuracy and a high standard of excellence in an organised manner
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Consistently displaying integrity, through honest and reliable actions, earning the trust of peers and clients
