The Role
Reporting to the Production Estimating Manager, your primary responsibility is to apply your analytical ability to assist in the preparation of quotations for projects, prepare accurate take-offs, check contract plans for accuracy prior to release for construction, along with associated administrative duties.
The Person
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:-
- Well-developed numerical skills
- Estimating experience working in the multi residential or project housing sector.
- Exceptional computer skills with a medium to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Outstanding attention to detail
- The ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
- Experience in BusinessCraft, Databuild or Companion systems would be advantageous
- Completed formal qualification in building or a trade certificate
- Ability to work within a team environment
In addition, you must have strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle numerous projects effectively and efficiently. Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or higher would be seen has advantageous.
