Job Overview:
Tile Direct is a successful and growing flooring supply & install company servicing new home-owners across NSW. We are passionate about providing our customers with a vast range of flooring selections and are focused on helping our customers make the best decisions to further enhance the features of their space.
Due to continued growth, Tile Direct is looking for an experienced estimator to be part of the estimating team creating material quantity lists for materials supply and installation labour contracts for works conducted in the new-home residential building sector.
This position is located in our modern and friendly offices in Beresfield.
The role will include:
- Estimating supply quantities for material supply
- Estimating labour content for subcontractor payments
- Quoting generally
- Ordering materials
- Liaise with builders supervisors and estimating teams
- Following up purchase orders
- Business administration generally
The ideal candidate will have:
- Is eager and enthusiastic with a can do attitude, but also someone who is not afraid of a challenge and can cope well under the stress of a busy workplace
- 2 + years in Building materials estimating desirable however graduates will be considered
- High level of detail and accuracy
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
