A highly innovative engineering and construction firm that has positioned itself as a market leader in Renewable Energy sector in Australia with several Solar Farms in construction.  The company boasts an experienced leadership group combined with an innovative approach to assisting development and financial close of their clients’ projects.
  
Position
  
Following rapid growth, the company has recently restructured its Logistics & Procurement team to centralise the management of their Supplier contracts via this Package Manager role. 
  
To help achieve this you will primarily focus on managing the performance of the supplier contracts during procurement stage ensuring quality standards, tracking progress on logistics and providing input into engineering, design and technical specifications.  The position will also have a pre-contract involvement in assessing suppliers in the market, preparing tenders and assisting estimating and negotiation of contracts.
  
You

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• Previous or current position working for an EPC Contractor
• Greenfield construction exposure for projects with a complex logistics element for packages of equipment and supplies to site (logistics or supply chain experience ideal)
• Project engineering experience regarding estimating, reviewing and amending technical specifications, project scheduling and quality management
• Contract administration experience for large supplier or sub contracts with an appreciation of how to effectively manage contract variations and disputes
