The Project

CPB Contractors has been selected by BHP Iron Ore to deliver the construction of bulk earthworks, concrete and underground services for the South Flank project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Works are commencing immediately with estimated completion expected late 2020.

Your Opportunity

As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be an important member of the Plant & Assets team. Your focus will be on the day to day management of site based plant and assets, relevant workshops and personnel involved with the administration and maintenance onsite. This is a FIFO role working a 15/6 roster on South Flank MAC project with an immediate start. We have a strong pipeline of work and this is a permanent role.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent .
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a preference for large scale resources, roads or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience supervising and leading a team of maintenance personnel to comply to maintenance plans and equipment life cycle requirements
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to shop floor personnel for mobile equipment
  • Ability to accurately record all maintenance activities and ensure business process are adhered to at all times
  • Absolute commitment to safety in everything you do.
