Company:

My client are a well-established fit out and refurb company based in Sydney's CBD. They are collaborative team of professionals that enjoy working on a wide range of projects. The projects range from Aviation, Office and hospitality fit out with the value usually ranging from $200K - $10M. Due to company growth they are looking to bring on a Project Manager to keep up with company growth and project pipeline.

Role:

The key purposes of the Project Manager role are:

• Review and develop scope of work packages
• Obtaining quotations from various sub-contract trades, comparing and contrasting each in order to maximise project cost efficiency.
• Aiding in negotiation and contractual claims
• Assist in cash flow reporting and management
• Design comprehensive project programs and communicate to team
• Adhere to client programs and generate the construction programe to ensure planning, material resources, costs, safety and quality
• Manage the project costing close to budget through avoiding scope creep, efficient workflow and subcontractor negotiation
• Manage multiple site and priorities

Person:

• A Bachelor in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Head-contractor experience within Sydney's commercial construction industry
• Australian or preferably Sydney experience
• Exposure to fitouts $5M+
• A desire to progress with a company on a long term basis
• Excellent Tenure at previous companies

Remuneration

• $100,00- $140,000 base (Experience Dependent)
