This civil contractor have recently won a number of projects in the urban development space, the work is local to Brisbane and the Gold Coast regions. Due to company growth and an internal promotion this position has came available
The company are a institution here in QLD, they have an excellent reputation and a list of incredible projects to their name across many areas of civil.
Working within the urban side of the business as a Construction Manager will see you involved and overseeing a range of projects including management of civil works projects, subdivisions, greenfield and brownfield projects, amongst other general urban development projects.
You will be tasked in running the urban division and growing the business over the next few years.
Previous skills and experience as a Construction Manager or a highly experienced Project Manager both within the urban development fields are required
Skills and Experience required:
- A bachelor in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
- 10+ yeas site experience
- Previous experience managing urban development projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience delivering high quality projects - specifically within urban
- A sound knowledge of contractual requirements
- An ability to mentor site engineers.
