Project Manager

My client are a well reputed contractor in North West Sydney, who specialise in New Build and Commercial fit-out.

They take on a variety of projects across education, healthcare, government works and heritage buildings valued anywhere up to $20m. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing organisation.  

Their reputation exceeds most, valuing themselves on staff retention and their ability to successfully deliver projects on time. 
Working alongside 3 other Project Managers, you will report into the Project Director. With most projects in the Government space, this company can provide long term, consistent work for their employees. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing major corporate projects up to $20m 
• Responsible for all projects costing and budgets 
• Management of client relationship 
• Managing disruptions, delays and extensions of time
• On-site safety in accordance with compliance regulations 
• Management of staff & subcontractors 
• Preparation of weekly & monthly reports
• Maintaining a high awareness of new construction methods

You will be expected to have:

• Degree in Construction Management 
• 2-3 years experience as a Project Manager ideally in NSW
• Understanding Australian standards and contract law
• Strong references covering past 5 years
