Road Management and Operations Plant Operators
Position No. 800
Permanent Full Time
Band 3 $54,695 - $58,342 per annum plus 9.5% statutory superannuation, 9-day fortnight.
Opportunities exist at our Maffra depot for an enthusiastic and experienced Road Management and Operations Plant Operator to provide labour and operation of major and specialist plant and equipment to provide efficient maintenance of road infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for improving and maintaining Council roads, drainage, bridges and public areas.
The successful applicant will be a team player who possess skills and extensive experience in all aspects of plant operation for the construction and maintenance of roads.
Success in this position will rely on your ability to work under minimal supervision and communicate effectively with the community.
If you are self-motivated with a good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety in relation to the operation of machinery, we look forward to receiving your application.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
- Ability to plan and organise own work to achieve workplace objectives.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Current drivers licence with a heavy vehicle licence endorsement
- Experience in general municipal maintenance and construction works.
