Leading Head / Team Leader
CT Labour Hire Pty Ltd specialise in supplying reliable, qualified workers for the civil construction, trades, manufacturing and warehousing industries.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working in a team environment, carry the installation of road safety barrier systems at various locations as directed, ensuring that the systems are compliant to the applicable standards of both workmanship and statutory requirements.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A guard rail installer crew member works in a team environment and is required to demonstrate the following skills:
- Understands and apply quality control techniques.
- Ability to assess and manage risk
- Exercises good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exercise measuring and calculation skills.
- Performs work peripheral to the employee’s main function and facilitates the completion of the whole task.
- Is able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards.
- Assists in the provision of on-the-job training.
- Understands and applies quality control techniques
- Exercises good interpersonal communication skills.
- Exercises discretion.
- Ability to direct, organise and lead a team of 2-3 team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid medium rigid drivers licence.
- Industry induction ticket.
- First aid certificate.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry or similar experience, and 2 years’ experience at this level.
Skills:
The following skills are necessary to undertake work at this level:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent written and spoken skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Ability to direct other team members.
- Attention to detail.
