Summerhill Maintenance Services are a rapidly growing Civil, Signage, Graffitti Removal and Line Marking business based in Melbourne.

We are currently seeking a candidate with proven experience in installing roadside signage as well as installing larger overhead gantry type signage to Vicroads specifications. This person would be able to manage and schedule works based on priority and would be required to work weekdays mainly but must be available to work weekends and night shifts where needed.

This person would also be required from time to time to  supplement other work groups where instructed.

This candidate would ideally possess the following attributes:

• Be able to manage jobs from implementation to completion as instructed
• Have the ability to work in a team environment as well as work independantly
• Be able to clearly communicate on project scope to all stakeholders/crew members and be able to adapt changes to program and scope to existing programs
• Be able to implement works packages to ensure that scope provided is delivered accurately, on time and to budget constraints.
• Be aware of OHS requirements needed for varying work types and report any incidents to operations and management teams where needed.
• Have effective time management skills, with the ability to implement solutions to align with company expectations and project outcomes
• Must attend/implement pre-start/site meetings and would be required to follow up on actions from these meetings
• Would ensure that all relevant site paperwork is current and on-site at all times and is correctly implemented and filled out

Preferred requirements for this role would include:

• An unrestricted Current Australian Drivers Licence - MR truck endorsement (Preferred) or higher
• A Victorian Industry induction card
• Experience in reading plans and setting out of site works with knowledge of Vicroads signage specifications
• Experience in job reporting and documenting completed quantities
• Experience in stock control and assigning materials to jobs
• Current Traffic Management Qualifications
• Availability for immediate start
• EWP, Working At Heights & other related tickets/qualifications
• Experience is installing: Gantry/Overhead Signage, Guardrail, Fencing, line marking & minor civil works

This position is a "Hands on Role" and it would be expected that this person be physically fit.
