Randstad have been engaged by a multi-disciplined civil and mining construction company who focus on large scale projects in rail, mechanical, electrical and resources work. They have identified the need for a Project Manager to come on board on a short term contract basis with a competitive hourly rate.

Reporting to the Project Director your duties will include:

• Managing project scope, program of works, resource requirements
• Managing budgets, quality and safety standards
• Client liaison
• Close consultation & collaboration with Project leads for other companies
• Management and supervision of assigned staff
• Subcontractor management
• Planning & coordination
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, contractual and legal obligations

To be considered for this position we are seeking the following skills and experience:

• Degree in civil engineering
• 5 - 10 year's experience in for civil works including renewable energy ( solar and wind farm)
• Excellent communication skills
• Happy with FIFO gig
• Strong commercial acumen, cost management and financial reporting skills
