Walker Precast is an established family business that manufactures structural and architectural precast concrete panels for commercial and industrial applications with locations across New South Wales & Victoria.
Due to rapid business growth and a heavy future workload, opportunity has arisen for an experienced precast site supervisor to join the project team based in the Sydney Metro area.
In this challenging and rewarding role contractor management, transport/install co-ordination, quality and program tracking will be the primary focuses and is suited to a 'hands on' supervisor with construction experience. You will work closely with the senior management team (including National & State-based managers) to manage the successful delivery of projects in the Sydney market, further enhancing Walker Precast's solid, dependable reputation within the industry.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinate, schedule & manage sub-contractors and trades
- Monitoring of site safety including toolbox talks & SWMS
- Receiving site deliveries ensuring all compliance documentation is inline with ITP
- Attend subcontractors meetings to ensure a strong client relationship
- Cost control through efficient programming and understanding of scope of works
- Issuing of reports and dealing with variations
Previous precast experience is essential, either from subcontractor side or builder side. Career progression opportunities available. Higher salary will be considered for the right applicant.
Rigging, dogging or crane operation experience/tickets will be viewed favourably.
