THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work with our utilities infrastructure business, to lead a significant project across the Adelaide suburbs.
This role, reporting to the SA/NT Programme Manager, will be based out of our Dudley Park facility, and will be responsible for safety, cost, schedule, quality and effective management of a large project team (several hundred employees plus subcontractors).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience in large scale complex project management role/s, with heavy exposure to utilities infrastructure projects which include substantial civil build as well as associated supply works.
- An understanding of existing curb side infrastructure (eg. pits/pipes/ducts/access points etc)
- A demonstrable knowledge of project management principals and applications.
- Competency in project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
- Able to problem solve design and practical issues with existing infrastructure.
- Experience in managing large number of subcontractors and a significant self-perform workforce.
You will have demonstrable experience in Project Management and will have well-honed leadership skills. You will be an effective and visible leader, and drive commercial and operational outcomes from your teams.
You will have an advanced level of proficiency in programming/scheduling, contractual management, procurement and general technical aspects of civil engineering as well as a demonstrated commitment to safety.
You should have an applicable tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Construction Management (or similar).
