Our client is a specialist civil engineering, ground engineering and piling contractor with a presence throughout the APAC region. Due to a company restructure they
have a unique opportunity to an experienced Bid Manager to join their management team in their established Melbourne office.
In this role working closely with senior management and both the estimating and design teams, your duties will be varied and include, but not limited to, EOI preparation, documentation review, bid preparation, tender negotiation and client facing liaising.
The successful applicant will be involved in an element of business development where you will, on occasions, be assisting in the sourcing of new business opportunities on new civil infrastructure projects within Victoria and South Australia, specifically targeting the piling elements of these projects. These potential opportunities will come from both existing and prospective new clients mainly tier 1 civil infrastructure and building contractors, so contacts within these sectors is highly advantageous.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary / Degree Educated In Civil Engineering
- Melbourne Based
- Minimum 5+ years Bid Management Experience Within Civil Infrastructure Sector
- Business Development Experience
- Piling Experience / Knowledge Advantagous
- Thorough Knowledge of Melbourne Civils Sector
- Excellent Man Management skill
- Self Starter
- Ability To Work On Own Initiative
