EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED SHUTDOWN ELECTRICAL PLANNER!!

RGLG Pty Ltd is a Health, Safety and Environment focused business with a strong belief in Zero Harm. This company is an innovative, dynamic and expanding business based in South Australia's Upper Spencer Gulf specialising in providing shutdown services to the mining and mineral beneficiation industry.

RGLG Pty Ltd has been contracted to deliver a shutdown every twelve weeks, for the foreseeable future, at a large gold mine in Papua New Guinea. This is an opportunity for you to show your capabilities as an Electrical Planning resource in a professional team on an attractive FIFO roster. 

The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Shutdown Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing the electrical scope for the shutdown
  • Planning the scope with the Planners and Schedulers
  • Ensuring the scope is fully executed during the shutdown window with the goal of increasing the reliability of all electrical assets at site
  • The Electrical Planner will be a key member of the commissioning team
  • You will be responsible for providing electrical advice and managing the work associated with a gold mine generating its own power that includes extensive geothermal energy.

To be successful for this position you will require the following:

  • A minimum of an electrical trade with at least 5 years in a maintenance planning  or construction environment
  • Planning experience (essential)
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering will be advantageous with substantial experience in the mineral beneficiation or heavy manufacturing industries
  • SAP experience (essential)
  • Microsoft Project or Primavera experience (essential)
  • A current Australian passport (essential)
  • The successful applicant MUST have previous shut down experience
  • You will require knowledge of LV,HV, Instrumentation and  PLC/SCADA Systems
  • Your excellent analytical and problem solving skills together with your high level communication skills will see you secure this dynamic role.
