The Role...
Is the perfect opportunity for a mature, pro-active person who has estimating experience in Residential and Commercial Structural Steel and is looking to grow their career.
The role will involve responsibility for managing the estimating team through the tender process, preparing accurate tenders, quotes and budgets, and implementing and improving the estimation process within the company.
Your Major Responsibilities will include:
- Estimate all material, labour, plant and equipment to carry out structural steel works for any structural steel project
- Interpreting the Engineering and Working Drawings provided by the Builder.
- Prepare take-off quantities of steel and material lists.
- Create opportunities for new customers
- Follow Up on existing quotes and customers
- Provide Summary Reports etc. for tracking
- Implement CRM and Job Tracking software
- Work in a cooperative/harmonious team environment
You Will Need...
- Structural Steel Estimating Experience (Residential preferred but not essential)
- Ability to interpret Architectural, Engineering and Fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of residential/commercial building processes and techniques.
