Opportunity
The primary focus of this role is to provide a combination of civil and electrical distribution estimates for civil infrastructure construction projects, consistent with client specifications, drawings, standards and company policies and procedures. This includes:
- Management of subcontractor and supplier pricing and RFQ process
- Development of detailed price build up
- Review of tender documentation
- Creation of tender requests for information
- Development of project risk assessments
- Development of project scope statements
- Development of project programs
- Development of delivery methodologies
About You
Our ideal candidate will have significant (ideally, 5+ years) experience in an estimation role within the energy & infrastructure industry, on projects ranging in value up to $20m, as well as:
- Detailed knowledge of standards, laws, codes of practice and legislative requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in project engineering, contracts administration and/or, quantity surveying field.
- Detailed knowledge of expert estimation software or similar
- Strong understanding of the subcontractor and supplier pricing process.
- Significant experience and current knowledge of the technical aspects of civil engineering activities in utilities industries.
- Demonstrated estimation of similar projects in Qld, NSW and/or NT
- Understanding & Analysing Financial Data
