About the role
A new opportunity for Project Manager / Estimator has become available due to our large workload and staff restructuring. The primary responsibility of this role will be to accurately manage and maintain various projects from start to completion.
The role will be based in Bibra Lake.
Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing and reviewing detailed estimates (or quotes)
- Making sure that Finesse have the most updated information prior to commencement of works
- Responsible for project budget and variations
- Managing and running concurrent projects, installers / contractors, materials
- Delivering the project from start to finish accurately and within budget
- Responding in an acceptable and courteous manner to all levels of clients/public regarding enquiries, complaints and requests related to works being monitored
- Confirm that all supply requirements have been verified prior to commencement of works
- Directly liaise with Account Manager for invoicing
- Checking all items of contract work as executed and reporting any defects or non-compliance with the contract documents
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys a team based environment and works well within a team
- Able to read drawings / plans
- Has a strong time management, good customer service / interpersonal and coordination skills
- Has strong data entry skills especially for MS Word and Excel
- Minimum 3 years experience in project managing building construction projects
- Knowledge of Building Code of Australia and in possession of white card construction induction
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is able to report back to superiors
- Ability to deal with stress /works well under pressure
- Working to budgets
- Strong negotiating skills
- Able to undergo 12 months probationary period
