ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking to fill a range of Plant Operator positions (Wheel Loader, Excavator, Muncher & Dump Truck) within our expanding Concrete Recycling Division. Positions are primarily located at our Sunshine Concrete Recycling & Contract Crushing facility in suburban Melbourne, but candidates may also be required to work at various locations across Delta Group project sites in metropolitan Melbourne.
To be successful in these positions you will possess:
- Suitable experience in the operation of mobile plant within the recycling, quarry, civil or demolition industries.
- Show competence in operating various machine types and models.
- Have a basic mechanical understanding of relevant mobile plant.
- Be able to work within a busy recycling/quarry environment/yard with other plant and machines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be physically fit and able to complete manual/physical labour including plant upkeep and general maintenance.
- An understanding and focus on safety within the workplace.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Provide suitable and applicable references.
A valid driver's licence and transport, relevant plant operator tickets and competencies, a physical medical assessment and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol tests are minimum requirements for all positions.
