As an established Property and Construction firm which operate across Australia my client are renowned for providing industry leading training to their Project Management staff.

As an up and coming Project Manager or Contracts Administrator professional you want the responsibility to deliver concurrent projects and have the opportunity to work in a stand alone position. You will be supported by a General Manager and have a genuine opportunity to grow with the business and start stepping up as a number one on projects up to $100 Million Dollars in the future. 

You will have "enough rope" to deliver projects from $1 Million to $10 Million and have full accountability. You will also have the luxury of being fully supported when needed by a management team that has a track record of producing some of the industries best project managers.

Duties & Responsibilities 

To be successful in this role you will come from a strong contracts management background at a minimum and have experience across:

  • Project tender preparation and management inclusive and not limited to Document preparation, RFI Management and QS Tender analysis.
  • Small and medium Works order preparations and management. 
  • Contract execution across tender selection and contract instructions. 
  • Project procurement, overseeing tenders and contractor engagement.
  • Overseeing project cost summaries. 
  • Consultant tracking. 
  • Project workload tracking across concurrent projects. 
  • Monitor and assist with special projects as required.  
  • Attend site meetings as required.
  • Building & Construction Walk through's and Auditing. 

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Your attitude and desire to progress are your number one attribute - the client will help you become an established Senior Project Manager in the future if you have the right mentality.
  • At a minimum you will have completed your Bachelor of Construction Management / Property Degree, or have attained an equivalent tertiary study. 
  • Excellent computer skills are required - MS Project and Construction program knowledge is advantageous.
  • It is essential you can read construction drawings and enjoy resolving design issues.
  • You must have had exposure to managing construction contracts and being accountable. 
  • You must have the confidence and presentation skills to be a point of contact for clients. 
  • 3 - 5 years experience working in Sydney on mainstream Construction projects in a Contracts Administrator, Assistant Project Manager or Client Side Project Manager capacity.
