Your new company.
You will be joining an exciting and dynamic civil construction contractor who specialise in the delivery of civil works and infrastructure solutions to their clients across Perth Metro and regional WA. They have the opportunity for an Operations Manager to step in and help drive their business to continued growth and maintain high levels of safety.
Your new role.
As the Operations Manager within this organisation you will manage the civil operations functions and resources to reduce risk and deliver profit while maintaining safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
With a proven background working within civil construction in Perth, you will have strong networks and have a name for reliability, service and ability. You will steer a motivated and experienced project management team through the day to day operations of the business and identify and cultivate initiatives to improve process and ensure a continued positive and safety culture.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage and control a large and diverse portfolio of metro and regional work
- Ensure best practice
- Work closely with all aspects of the business to ensure commercial targets are achieved
- Financial Control across all projects
- Manage in depth, monthly project reviews
- Identify and build new business growth and leveraging of industry network
- Spearheading the direction and focus of the business
What you will need to succeed.
To be successful in this role you will have held a similar role in a small / medium sized business in WA and have a proven track record in the quality and safe delivery of civil construction projects, with a specific focus on road construction and bulk earthworks. You will be Perth based, well connected and a successful developer of business. It is essential that you will be degree qualified in civil engineering or similar.
