We work with government departments, owners, architects and engineers to design and build custom modular buildings. As a turnkey construction company, we provide pre-construction assistance, project schedule development as well as construction management services.
About the role
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Review and interpret in-depth tender documentation to accurately price building and install packages
- Prepare RFQ documentation for submission to Subcontractors / Suppliers
- Prepare scopes of works for both clients and subcontractors
- Proactively undertake subcontractor interviews to mitigate scope gap / creep risk on Fleetwood RFQ responses
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications, and prepare bills of quantities
- Liaise with the relevant project stakeholders (internally and externally - including architects, engineers, builders, contractors, project managers, suppliers and clients) to clarify project requirements and source pricing information
- Prepare project forecasts
- Assess the cost implications of changes to product design/specification or project delivery
- Undertake feasibility studies to assist in decisions about the worth of a project proceeding
- Record and analyse/interpret information on costs and trends related to materials, labour and services

Skills and experience
The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in preparing bills of quantities, sourcing pricing information and estimating project costs within the construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to undertake feasibility studies and cost assessments associated with design change
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team with sound time management skills
- Experience using commercial estimation packages for the construction industry
