Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their construction team in Sydney. Having been in business over 35 years' our client has a solid pipeline of very large-scale building projects within High Rise Residential and Health Infrastructure Projects.
Role Responsibilities:
- Understand the obligations and rights under the Head Contract to identify, control and mediate any risks
- Monitor, review and create financial reports to ensure outcomes and targets are me
- Manage and support Clients and stakeholders
- Manage the acquisition and recommendation of sub-contractors to the Project Manager
- Contract management & Quality Assurance
- Arrange and present financial report
- Maintain a Construction program
- Consult with sub-contractors to resolve construction and design issues
Role Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the Australian Market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing projects in value of 100M plus
- Prior experience working on Commercial Projects
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery
