Our client is a multi-discipline civil contractor with a rich history across the East Coast of Australia. They have an immediate opportunity for an 'HSEQ Coordinator' to complement their national Safety team.

Our client has a hands-on and progressive approach to HSEQ nationally across all of their sites.  Due to even more project wins, and incredible growth the national team have a requirement for 'HSEQ Coordinator' to join their Sydney based operations, with a direct line and reporting structure to the National Environmental manager.
 
This is a Sydney based role, across several projects on facility and Network utility projects:

• Pressure Sewer Systems
• Reticulation Water Mains
• Water Supply Renewals
• Sewer Rehabilitation
• Sewage Pumping Station & Rising Mains

Duties:

• Advising the site teams on all matters for HSEQ
• As 'HSEQCoordinator' you will be involved with Safety compliance and coordination
• Liaise with the NSW Environmental Protection Authority(EPA) and roll out to the site teams accordingly as well as statutory requirements across multiple sites
• Carry out investigations using ICAM
• Deliver site training on all matters for Enviro and Safety, including toolbox meetings, JSEA and safety inductions
• Crucial involvement Audits across sites
• Producing site specific Environ reports
• Conducting daily site inspections

Experience:

• A degree or Diploma is a prerequisite
• A trade or engineering background could suit this position very well
• Your previous site based project experience should include Civil or Building construction
• Working knowledge of HSEQ legislation and best practice
• Our client wants a leader, with strong communication skills and high levels of motivation
• Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office suite
