Now Careers is currently recruiting a Project Director / Associate Director for their client a leading consultancy to join their Sydney office. This client offers services in Development and Project Management, Advisory and Program Management. They have an exceptional reputation in the market for being leaders in the field and have successfully delivered projects in Health, Education, Infrastructure, Commercial and Mixed-use.
 
Due to continued success, they are seeking 2 competent Project Directors / Associate Directors to lead and grow the key projects, including a large-scale hospital and a sizeable arts & culture scheme.  This is a genuine leadership opportunity with core responsibilities in building a team and developing a high-performing environment. You'll be guided by industry leading Directors with Professional Development Plans, outstanding systems and a mapped out strategic vision. 

The successful applicant will be well networked and have a proven track record managing major hospital/health projects, or arts & culture schemes.

Key Requirements
 

• You will have completed a Bachelor of Construction, Engineering or a property related degree.
• You will have experience both working for the contractor, direct for the client or a consultancy
• Strong networks and business development
• You will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the industry 
• It is crucial that you have experience working on large scale health or arts & culture projects having worked on them from inception through to completion
• Strong technical knowledge and proven experience
• You will have extensive experience in Design Management, Contract Negotiation and Management and Stakeholder management.
