ABOUT THE COMPANY.
An established and boutique Builder that specalises in the residential market, devliering projects between $800K and $10M. From knockdown/rebuilds, to renovations and extensions, this Builder has been awarded multiple awards over their history. Majority of their work is concentrated across the Eastern Suburbs, with projects also on the lower North Shore and Inner West.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Leading Hand/Supervisor, you will report to the Site Manager. You will commence from the start of a $6M knock/down rebuild of a residential home in Maroubra. The project timeline is 14 months, with the opportunity to move onto another project, due to the strong pipeline in the works. You will be responsible for trades and contractors, as well as general site management. You will be trained and mentored into becoming a Site Manager, looking after your own site.
DUTIES.
- General first and second fix carpentry
- Read and interpret detailed site plans
- Program and schedule works
- Complete a fortnightly schedule
- Manage site safety and WHS
- Coordinate trades and subcontractors
- Implement the construction program
- Conduct inductions and tool box talks
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Supervisory experience as a on high-end residential homes
- Carpentry Trade is essential
- Track record of delivering end to end luxury home projects
- Ability to lead and coordinate site personnel
- Thorough understanding of WHS and site safety
- Excellent eye for detail and time management skills
- Strong stability with Builders delivering high-end projects
