Currently looking for dedicated individuals to join the Cleansing and Waste Transfer Station teams in a Local Council in Melbourne's South East Suburbs for various short term and on going roles.
Working within the cleansing team provides a range of cleansing maintenance services to the City's assets, including:
- Bin Clearance & Litter Control
- Bin pick-up and Delivery
- Toilet Cleaning & BBQ Cleaning
- Spill Response & Sharps Collection
- Traffic & Splitter Island cleaning
- Special Deliveries & Collections from Council Buildings
- Other general duties as required.
Working within the Transfer Station your duties may include but not be limited to:
- Operating machinery such as Front end loaders
- Traffic control
- Driving truck
- Sorting materials
- Other general duties as required
To be successful for this role you will:
- Have a current MR licence or above (Essential).
- Traffic control and front end loader tickets highly regarded.
- Have demonstrated cleansing or service industry experience.
- Be available to work flexible hours- Including early morning and afternoons.
