A growing independent project management consultancy, located in the Sydney CBD is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their organisation. This business has a long-track record of successfully delivered projects across Retail, Commercial, Healthcare and Residential and is held in high regard across the industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting the senior team, managing various stakeholders and working on multiple projects at any one time.
Your main duties & responsibilities:
- Assisting with the delivery of projects from Inception to Completion
- Liaising with the design team, site staff, engineers and project consultants
- Contract administration
- Keeping an eye on budget and cost control
- Providing regular reports to senior staff
- Managing projects to strict deadlines
You will be / have:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or relevant field of study
- Good design management and contract administration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous on-site project delivery experience would be highly regarded but not essential
- An ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
