Design is responsible for designing and documenting all development projects for Westfield, and Construction is responsible for building these. Your opportunity

Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to

  • Prepare and coordinate cost planning of Indicative Conceptual Budget (ICB) through to Elemental Construction Budget (ECB)
  • Liaise and engage with external Quantity Surveyors and internal Estimators as required.
  • Cost Control and Monthly Project Reporting.
  • Subcontract and Material Procurement.
  • National Contractor Procurement.
  • Timely and proper administration of Subcontractor, Supply & Head D&C Contract Agreements.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for process improvements to continually enhance the effectiveness of the Special Projects Administration, Procurement, Cost Planning and Estimating process.
  • Administrative support to the Special Projects – Tenancy Coordinators, Project Coordinators and Project Managers as required.
  • Engage with various stakeholders including Development, Leasing, Centre Management, Finance and Facilities to achieve desired outcomes.

What will set you apart from the rest?

You will be a passionate, dynamic, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture.

  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction and/or Tertiary degree majoring in construction management and/or Tertiary degree majoring in quantity surveying.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role as an Estimator.
  • Knowledge of sub-contractor market.
  • Experience in hard dollar tender market.
