Senior Project Manager:
A Senior Project Management opportunity has surfaced today, after a trilogy of commercial projects have been won this week. This Senior appointment will join a well established Australian Construction Company, seeking to expand its footprint. This position has only been appointed as of today 11/07/2018
Projects:
- Hospital - $16 million
- School - $5 million
- Aged Care - $14 million
As part of a team you will have exposure to a range of High-end projects valued from $2 - $45 million. About the role:
As their newly appointed Senior Project Manager you will be expected to take full ownership of one of the above projects, supervising site activities and delegating as necessary.
Ideally you will have direct experience working on Aged Care, School Projects or Hospital Projects for a Tier 2 or similar firm working on commercial, industrial or residential projects over $2 million. You will possess a pleasing portfolio working for Australian recognised Contractors and over 5 years experience working for similar build projects in the Local Sydney arena.

- Preparing programmes
- Forecasting
- Budgets
- Costing
- Financial Reporting
- Adherence to BCA standards
- Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
- Daily and Monthly reporting
- OH&S
- Subcontractor site Inductions
- Client Care
- Managing onsite issues
- Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.
Skills and experience
- 5 Years plus experience as a Project Manager.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and be goal-oriented
- You must be a team player
- Ambitious and interested in company growth.
- C.H.E.O.P.S, Timberline, JOBPAC proficiency advantageous, but not essential.
- A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
- Good management approach.
Qualifications:
Ideally you have Construction Management or Building diploma but relevant experience working for competitors will be acknowledged and shortlisted on a case by case basis.
