Building Site Supervisor

One of Australia's largest residential building companies is looking for an experienced, passionate, hardworking individual to join its rapidly expanding Victoria operations. This individual will possess a positive, 'can do' attitude along with substantial experience in supervising across multiple building sites.

This role presents a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a large, yet rapidly growing building company and assist in the further expansion into Victoria.

The right candidate for this role will be:

• Flexible – You will be required to manage a large number of sites across multiple locations
• Experienced – You will have substantial experience in building multiple homes and units, preferably having worked for a volume / project builder for at least 2 years.
• Attention to Detail – The devil is in the detail. Details matter to us, and they will matter to you too.
• Connected – You will bring with you a large range of contacts for Victorian subcontractors, suppliers and trades.   
• Efficient  - You will be rewarded for delivering projects on time and under budget
• Initially building sites will be located in Melbourne's West growth region (Wyndham Vale).

Duties will include the following:

• Managing multiple residential home and unit sites at varied stages, ensuring they run on time and to budget.
• Sourcing and allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homes.
• Assisting in estimation and sourcing of project costing's for units and homes.  
• Ensuring work undertaken by contractors is completed in accordance with correct building practices and procedures and adhered to at all times.
• Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget;
• Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with OH&S regulation and company procedures;
• Assist with the sourcing of new trades & suppliers as part of the development of the local-based team;
• Experience with a volume builder 

To be successful in the position you need possess the following:

• Townhouse experience preferred
• Experience supervising with volume builder
• Sound knowledge of all facets of residential construction.
• Outstanding communication and organisational skills
• Able to get the job done in suitable timeframes.
• Computer/technology skills.
• Current Drivers Licence.
