A Project Manager job in Melbourne's east managing a large and diverse portfolio of building projects.
Your new company
A government organisation that has a large pipeline of building projects for the next several years is seeking an immediately available Project Manager to join the major projects team in Melbourne’s east.
Your new role
Reporting to the Program Manager you will be responsible for your own portfolio of projects. This will include design, scoping, tendering, contracts administration, commissioning, programming, monitoring cost and time frames as well as engaging contractors and consultants to ensure successful delivery. Your portfolio will consist of new build, refurb and fit out projects at various stages.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have a strong technical background coupled with sound project methodology expertise. Your communication skills will be a strength and your ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders is key. A qualification in architecture, project management or construction is ideal.
