Due to increased project demand, we need to grow our local presence in the Rockhampton/Central Highlands regions. We are looking for experienced Land Access specialists with experience in large scale infrastructure projects preferably located in the Central Queensland Region.

About the role

This role will engage and negotiate with landholders on behalf of our clients to gain timely access both temporary and permanent occupation of land required for the development of Project infrastructure. The role will focus on the development of landholder relationships and identification of requirements and issues to resolve these with the Project representatives to deliver land access in accordance with Project timelines. This role is required to negotiate in a respectful and professional manner with a view to reaching voluntary agreements and within the framework of relevant State legislative requirements. As such a well-developed understanding of this legislative processes is essential.

This role will coordinate all Project access requirements and landholder relations on behalf of the Project proponent and actively participate in the work scheduling landholder access and notifications and access condition compliance and manage the performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.

Essential requirements for this role

  • Relevant experience in Landowner engagement in the infrastructure sector.
  • Ability to connect, collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Proven understanding of legal agreements and contracts.
  • Well developed understanding of rural business operations.
  • High level digital literacy including the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
  • Successfully undertake and obtain a federal police clearance with no disclosable outcomes and a medical clearance to determine ability to undertake the requirements of the role.

This role is being offered on a casual basis and is open to applicants who have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
