About the business and the role
Our company requires a Building Estimator / System Developer, the position objective will be to further develop our rapid estimating program and provide support to our franchise builders to generate retail pricing to their sales team and create purchase orders for suppliers and trades.

Job tasks and responsibilities
- Further develop our rapid estimating system to enable our franchisees to complete timely accurate home pricing.
- Accurately price and quantify bills of quantities (BOQ)/takeoffs using Databuild in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist our franchisees to generate accurate and timely take-offs for standard homes suited to the specific local building requirements.
Skills and experience
- Must be able to take responsibility and have effective time management skills.
- Have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to self check work.
- Previous experience in estimating using Databuild or similar estimating systems is desired but not necessary.
- High level of customer service to assist our franchisees with problem solving.
- Proficient experience with Excel and Microsoft suite products .
- Previous work experience in the residential building industry will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team.
