Immediate opportunity for an electrical Estimator to join multi-disciplinary services contractor in Northern Sydney. Must have local experience. This role will suit a Junior Estimator with a minimum of 12 months estimating experience across residential and retail. Experience on livescale, electrical build and undrground carparks and experience with submains.

Advanced Excel skills is required as this role requires you to prepare your own spreadsheets, prepare formulas and create and use pivot tables for cost estimation and tender preparation.

The role:

• Quote, estimate, tender minor works projects and services contracts across residential and retail
• Experience on Livescale, electrical build and underground carparks and experience with submains.
• Assist wider management team with estimating queries and questions across multiple trade disciplines
• Communicate and create relationships with all stakeholders, clients and field staff
• Lead the establishment of an estimating and project management division within the company

You will possess:

• Trade or degree qualification in electrical, (essential) mechanical or similar
• Advance Excel experience and knowledge (essential)
• Previous estimating experience and understanding on Australian codes and standards
• Ability to conceive and plan projects at tender stage with accuracy
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Must have local electrical estimating experience, must be familiar with the standards of the electrical indusrty and have good connection with suppliers and products.
