Hays are seeking experienced pipe layers for multiple projects in the Canberra region.
Your new company
Our client is a national pipeline renewal specialist who are experiencing strong growth in the ACT and surrounds. They are seeking a number of pipe layers, labourers and operators to assist their team.
Your new role
You will work amongst a team for a number of pipeline renewal projects. You will be expected to work at least 40 hours a week, with plenty of overtime available. You must be willing to travel around the ACT and regional NSW on a weekly basis. You will be expected to assist with pipe installation and repair, trench digging, site preparation and other labouring duties.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced pipe layer, labourer or operator, who has previously worked in civil construction. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to complying with OH&S policy will be highly regarded. Possession of a MR or LR licence would be a very strong advantage. You must hold both an OH&S White Card and Asbestos Awareness Card. You will take a hands on approach, and are ideally seeking a long term career.
