The Company:
A privately owned international Civil, Building and Marine Engineering & Construction company operating in 3 continents has two permanent opportunities for a Civil or Mechanical Project Engineer on both of their new projects. Given the scale of projects, the opportunity is available in either Melbourne or Tasmania.

The Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will have prior Project Engineering experience, within a D&C, ECI or ‘Construct Only’ arrangement. You will have previously completed a Civil or Marine project to Australian safety standards on time and within budget. Your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Coordinating with managers and superintendents on Engineering, temporary works and scheduling;
• Complete progress reports;
• Interpret Engineering drawings;
• Complete bids and evaluate subcontractor tenders;
• Monitor and pre-empt change of construction schedules and advise on necessary action;
• Work with Site Engineers and oversee site inspection and;
• Regularly assess the quality of the project.

The Requirements:
The successful candidate will have coherent English written and verbal communication skills and a minimum of 3 years Project Engineering experience on similar projects in Australia. You will have high safety standards, have a passion for working on key Construction infrastructure and genuinely enjoy engaging with external and internal stakeholders.
