About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager who has strong experience in medium to large-scale Class 1 & Class 2 Residential and Mixed-Use Developments.
Reporting to the Manager – Complex Projects, this hands on operational role will be responsible for all aspects of the project from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in managing all phases from design, planning, contracts, estimating, scheduling, procurement, delivery, sales & marketing, through to settlement.
Some key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Engagement and management of external service providers and technical consultants
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of client service
- Liaising with all project stakeholders
- Planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting
- Overseeing the successful delivery of projects, ensuring our client’s key objectives are realised by the delivery team
- Overseeing sales and marketing of completed housing products
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will come with the following attributes:
- A strong knowledge of Residential Construction and Procedures
- Project Management experience within Residential Developments (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to facilitate working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent time management skills whilst working with strict deadlines
- Effective analytical and problem solving ability
This role would be ideal for a candidate who has a strong working knowledge in Class 1 & Class 2 Residential Developments and is looking to move their career into Project Management.
