Would you like to work on a critical infrastructure project for Inland Rail Looking for a change of industries? If you'd like to broaden your experience on one of the most high-profile rail projects, we just so happen to have an opportunity like this for a Senior Project Engineer to join a top tier rail construction company.
About the Company:
The company is a specialist rail infrastructure contractor with operations throughout Australia, providing innovative solutions to some of the most complex rail network challenges. The organisation really focuses on its own performance and delivery, as they want to ensure that they are the go-to construction provider, therefore, they have a number of systems and processes in place that ensures company and project success!
About the role:
The organisation has JUST WON this major project which consists of the following:
- Bulk Earthworks (Cut & Fill)
- Heavy Duty Pavement Construction
- Building Construction
- Installation Asset Services
- Installation of Box Culverts
- Management of trackwork
- Installation of surrounding road networks
You will be a part of a dedicated project team that will work on all aspects of the project, as the Senior Project Engineer, your daily responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Monitor the project in accordance to set targets
- Project Planning and Forecasting, ensuring that deadlines are met
- Quality Control
- Stakeholder Management - both internal and external
What you will need:
- Have tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or similar
- Proven experience working on projects in excess of $20m
- Must have bulk earthworks experience
- Ideally, you will have track experience
- Good time management skills and have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Have a working knowledge of local Australian construction regulations
- Willing to work away from home.
