Our substantial increase in workload requires us to engage an Associate Quantity Surveyor, with a minimum of 7 years experience to join our Melbourne Office.
Reporting to the QS Director, this is a great opportunity to progress your career as an Associate Quantity Surveyor, working with Australia’s leading commercial, retail, aged care, industrial and residential developers and financiers on projects across Victoria and nationally.
The role will see you involved in:
- Feasibility studies
- Detailed budget and cost plans
- Cost estimates and cost management services
- Contract administration
- Financier services
- Independent certifier role
- Superintendent
As an ambitious and professional candidate, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Completion of AIQS/RICS full membership
- Buildsoft / CostX knowledge and experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment whilst achieving independent goals
- Demonstrated experience working in a professional QS firm
- Ability to develop strong professional client relationships
- Strong interest in practical building processes
- High level attention to detail
- Current driver’s license
