About the Role
Currently experiencing growth, we are seeking to add a highly motivated, organised, male or female building professional in the role of Contract Administrator / Project Co-ordinator to our South Melbourne office.

Key responsibilities 
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be a key member of the project delivery team. Working closely with various Project Managers across multiple projects you will be responsible for document control, financial management, procurement, trade letting, all project correspondence, internal / external reporting and contractual documentation obligations.

The cornerstone to our business is achieving or bettering delivery deadlines. The ability to create, monitor, and update construction programmes in conjunction with the Project / Site Managers is crucial.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone that wants to be in the thick of the action, enjoys a fast paced, team environment and thrives on the satisfaction of delivering quality projects on time and on budget

About You
Skills and Experienced

  • 2-3 years’ experience in commercial shop fitting / construction
  • Construction Management Degree qualified
  • Solid trade knowledge base - Scope of work
  • Comprehensive trade contacts
  • Microsoft Project proficient
  • Technical expertise and construction understanding
  • Planning skills – ability to track and manage key deliverables so that they are achieved on schedule
  • Expertise in planning and coordinating multiple projects at any given time

  • The ability to foster good customer, internal and supplier relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills – ability to get agreement on costs and agreed timing deliverables
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Financially literate and can track and manage budgets
  • Attention to detail – evaluate and pick-up issues with scope of works, quotations and specifications
  • Positive and persuasive personality to get things done with positive outcomes internally and externally
  • The ability to create good customer, internal and supplier relationships
