Epoca Constructions Pty Ltd is a mid-tier, diversified construction group engaged in a planned, quality driven expansion campaign! We are seeking an experienced, accomplished and motivated Project Manager to support our Central Queensland operations operating out of our Mackay Office.
The position is centralised in Mackay for North & Central Queensland projects and will report to (and be supported by) the North QLD Construction Manager.
Projects typically involve: Rail Infrastructure / Bridges / Roadworks & General Civil Engineering/Construction.
The roles objective is to manage the Project such that it achieves the Company objectives with respect to Safety and the Environment, Quality and Human Relations, is completed on time and within budget.
The Client relationship is very important to Epoca Constructions, as we rely on repeat business, and strongly believe in the principals of relationship contracting. Our recent track record proves this.
The business operates within an audited & 3rd party accredited Integrated Management System, covering all aspects of Safety, Quality & the Environment. The fully integrated management system provides robust policies and procedures that govern the business and projects delivery. We rely on our Project Managers professionalism, expertise & accountability in delivery of our project objectives.
Ideally, the applicant should have:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management;
- RPEQ will be an advantage, but not a necessity;
- A thorough grasp of construction methodologies and a track record of success managing the full array of civil construction project functions;
- Well developed leadership, people and mentoring skills;
- Excellent communications, and well developed liaison and relationship building skills;
- Strong commercial and reporting acumen;
- Strong Commitment to best practice on Safety, Quality & Environment;
- Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills
