Development Manager - Residential

My client is one of Australia’s leading development companies with a current work book of more than $2 billion.

These developments range from master-planned residential communities through to apartment, retail, industrial and commercial office projects.

They are now seeking a Development Manager with a strong background is residential for future works.

About the role
As a Development Manager in the residential division, you will be responsible for a diverse project portfolio, requiring a proactive and dynamic approach. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member to assist with an impressive range of residential projects.

To be successful you’ll be able to demonstrate your capability to think on your feet and your ability to respond to dynamic property based market environments. Your proven track record of community engagement and managing stakeholders will be your key to success in this innovative and inclusive development team.

About You
You will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor degree in an Urban design, Planning, Construction and/or Property Development
• Substantial and broad ranging experience in the management of residential projects
• Proven ability and experience in planning, organising and coordinating development, design, construction and marketing of projects
• Experience in the preparation of complex briefs, letters, emails and reports 
• Proven ability to constructively deal with stakeholder issues and take concrete steps to add value to the stakeholders
• Experience managing and directing people to generate successful results
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgeting and tight cost monitoring to achieve profitable outcomes
• Strong Contract Administration and management skill
