What's the role?
Our client is looking for a machine operator/concrete tester for their facility which is located in the Oakleigh South Area.
The role will involve weighing, grinding and testing concrete cylinders and entering numerical data into their system.
All training will be provided, including the operation of an overhead gantry crane. Other areas will include helping in the Aggregate Testing and Trial Mixes areas.
Day Shift hours apply 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday with the potential for overtime.
What are we looking for?
Ideally, our successful candidate will have:
- Construction material testing experience (although not necessary)
- High level of attention to detail
- Self motivated with a positive can do attitude.
- Be able to work of a team
- Be willing to learn all areas as all training will be provided
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills focusing on numeracy
- Available for an immediate start
