- Cert IV Occupational Health & Safety as a minimum
- Project Management- Construction experience 5 years as a minimum
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
The successful applicant would be required to hold a Standard 11,CBM, relevant RII’s, (S1,2,& 3 & G2,Work Permits-Hold & Issue) HR D/L minimum, Cert IV Occupational Health & Safety as a minimum, Project Management- Construction experience 5 years as a minimum, Coal Mining experience, Cert IV Trainer/Assessor , HRWL, excellent verbal & written communication skills & Competent computer skills.
Desirable qualifications would be:
Level 1 First Aid Officer & Authorised Person Aurizon for rail crossings.
Experience & knowledge to present themselves to mine representatives to negotiate contract issues & variations-Project Management experience, large Projects $100,000 & above.
Ability to understand a Scope of Works for Powerline Construction overhead & underground.
Optic Fibre- overhead (OPGW/ADSS) & underground.
Obtain quotes for SOW’s.
Schedule/Plan site works & outages with mine representatives.
Supervise mine SOW’s Overheard & U/G Powerline Construction.
Develop JSA’s for SOWs & participate in WRAC’s.
Develop, monitor and implement & manage workplace health and safety plans, policies and procedures for Powerline Construction.
Develop, identify & oversee training needs for Persal & Co.
Develop, monitor and implement & manage Environmental & Quality Management systems.
Participate in Environmental planning and programming to monitor clearing of power line easement and ensure permit to disturb (PTD) is adhered to.
Ensure Cultural Heritage sites are identified to clearing contractors and stop the spread of noxious weeds.
Maintain/oversee IMS for SAI Global Certification
