We are seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager, to join our Project Management Team in Perth on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
Your Responsibilities
The Deputy Project Manager will report directly to the Project Manager, and will share overall responsibility of key project objectives including; safety objectives, project budget, schedule, quality and client engagement.
Duties of this role include but are not limited to;
- Assist in managing and coordinating the project team, across the project design, fabrication, site erection, commissioning and the defects liability period.
- Provide support to ensure that all project works are executed safely and in accordance with relevant HSE requirements and guidelines
- Liaise with our Client regarding various project matters, working closely with key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
- Assist with arranging and overseeing the manufacture of components and ensure that the requirements of our Quality Management System are adhered to.
- Assist with establishing the budget and cost control system to align with project controls
- Monitor project progress and performance & generate relevant reports
Your Profile
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following competencies to be shortlisted;
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- Relevant Project Management Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in delivering mining projects
- Project Management and construction experience on projects in excess of $50m+
- Management of Client relationships
- Sound knowledge of materials handling and equipment
