Located on Sydney’s North Shore is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader.

 

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Operations Director, some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Mentoring, coaching and developing team members
  • Management of staff rostering and training
  • Monitoring of KPI's and call quality standards
  • Improving business performance and processes
  • Developing close working relationships internally and externally
  • Driving company values, policies & procedures
  • Ensuring performance standards are met
  • Escalation of issues to Management as required

 

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience managing a customer service team – this is not a hard-core call centre environment. The calls that the team are taking are from repeat customers so it’s essential that they are warm and welcoming and have a genuine interest in who they are speaking with
  • You have excellent communication skills and really do enjoy chatting to people
  • System wise – JD Edwards (or similar) ideal but not essential.  A knowledge of Freshdesk or managing outstanding tickets and reporting on issues would be valuable in this role
  • Good attention to detail and exceptional time management skills – You will be required to assist new employees with escalations or additional training that may be required
  • Driving a high-performance culture 
  • A team player attitude – If you are someone who lives by the words “that’s not in my job description”, this may not be the role for you

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark and drive improvements working in a small but busy team. You may be in a Team Leader position or have been working in Customer Service and feel confident enough to take the step up into a senior role.
